Touchstone Closing Announces New Partner, Adds Three More

ANDOVER, MA- Local Massachusetts based real estate law firm, Touchstone Closing, announced a new partner along with three other additions to the growing team. The firm specializes in real estate closings.

Christine Bernardini, an attorney and university professor, has joined forces as a new Partner. For over 16 years, Bernardini has used innovative solutions to serve the legal real estate needs of clients and Touchstone will benefit from her wealth of knowledge in finance, economics, and her extensive experience representing mortgage lenders.

Her experience in title examination, short-sale negotiations, tenant-landlord matters and condominium representation will truly enhance our client services”, said John K. Bernardini earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics – Finance from Bentley University. In 2003, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk Law School, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar the same year, with commissions to do closings in New Hampshire and Maine, while also maintaining memberships with the American, Essex County and Real Estate Bar Associations. Bernardini serves on the board of directors for Team Summit, a non-profit organization that works with youth in Lawrence and surrounding towns who are not deeply engaged in or have access to other youth development resources. She resides in Methuen, MA.

Lauren O’Shea has also joined as the Marketing and Communications Director. O’Shea has over 15 years of marketing and public relations experience most recently as a Vice President at Regan Communications in Boston. O’Shea resides in Lynnfield, MA.

In addition, Rayna Girard and Sheri Merlino have recently joined as Residential Real Estate Paralegals, both bringing over 20 years of experience respectfully. Girard resides in Salisbury, MA and Merlino in Tewksbury, MA.

This news comes on the heels of Touchstone’s expansion to Cape Cod having opened a location in downtown Chatham to meet market demand.
