The Stephens Group Announces the Formation of Catalyst Acoustics Group

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Stephens Group, LLC announced the formation of Catalyst Acoustics Group.  This development formalizes its strategy in the acoustical control industry and will serve as the platform for an elite group of acoustic, seismic, vibration and noise control companies that together offer the broadest portfolio of noise control solutions for industrial, architectural, commercial, construction, healthcare, government and other industries.

Catalyst Acoustics will house The Stephens Group’s growing family of noise control solutions providers, which currently includes Kinetics Noise Control, IAC Acoustics, Sound Seal, Noise Barriers and Lamvin.  Catalyst Acoustics will provide these businesses, which are already leaders in their respective niches, the resources of a much larger platform where scale, deep functional expertise, broad channel reach and significant financial resources far exceeds anything each company could accomplish independently.

Each of the businesses will remain independent brands and business units with continued ownership by key members of their management teams and the backing of its primary investor, The Stephen’s Group.

Joe Lupone has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Acoustics Group and will lead these companies into the next chapter.
