BOSTON–Stacy Chambers, Managing Director at NELSON Boston has been named a Practice Area Leader for TAMI, NELSON’s newest practice area focusing on Technology, Advertising, Media and Information Business.
Chambers brings over 25 years of diverse experience and skill sets to the TAMI Practice Leader, having spent half of her career in the Corporate Real Estate divisions of Bank of America, State Street and Houghton Mifflin, during the major transformative periods of their respective workplaces.
For Chambers, who successfully led the Boston team in the design of the award-winning Google Cambridge location, being named a practice area leader is a welcomed opportunity.
“It’s an incredible time with respect to the workplace and its place as the ultimate asset in the retention and attraction of talent. We focus on the journey with our clients since each one comes to us at a different point in their own journey. The “care of change” has a huge role in the success of these projects and is equally important to the design and delivery of these spaces.”
Representing the fastest rising star in real estate markets across the country, NELSON’s TAMI practice area is responding to the leaps and bounds in technological advances these companies are making. Companies like Verizon, Cisco, Publicis Groupe, Starcom Mediavest and Razorfish are converging in not only workstyle and space requirements, but disruptive innovation in their respective industries.
“As we continue to grow and evolve our firm to respond to the latest trends happening not only in the design world, but across a variety of industries we serve, we are combining our design and planning leadership to form creative powerhouses. Stacy’s imaginative, innovative and technical skill set makes her the ideal candidate to lead this growing practice area,” said John “Ozzie” Nelson Jr, Chairman and CEO of NELSON.
