Solomon Cordwell Buenz Hires Kristen O’Gorman as an Associate Principal and Senior Designer

BOSTON– Solomon Cordwell Buenz announced that it has hired Kristen O’Gorman as an Associate Principal and Senior Designer. O’Gorman joins the firm’s East Coast practice, which is based in Boston, to work on SCB’s expanding life sciences design portfolio, in addition to corporate office, institutional, and adaptive reuse projects.

O’Gorman’s appointment as Associate Principal comes as SCB continues to expand along the East Coast, where the firm opened a new office in June 2021.

O’Gorman joins SCB with over ten years of experience as an architect in Boston’s dynamic architecture industry. With an extensive portfolio of work in life sciences, as well as corporate office, adaptive reuse, and institutional design, O’Gorman brings strong and diversified expertise to the firm. O’Gorman is a graduate of Roger Williams University, a LEED Green Associate, and NCARB certified.

Prior to joining SCB, O’Gorman was an Associate, Senior Designer at Boston-based architecture firm, SGA, in addition to serving five years as a Studio Instructor for Boston Architectural College.
