BOSTON – Savills announced that Ron Perry, Larry Epstein, and Matt Perry have joined the firm’s Boston office through T3 Advisors, a Savills Company.

The trio was previously at Avison Young, where they arranged 260 transactions totaling approximately 2.6 million square feet at a valuation of $970 million over the last five years.

In 2020, the team completed Avison Young’s largest global lease transaction, representing Loomis Sayles in its 230,000-square-foot lease at One Financial Center in Boston. Ron Perry will be an executive managing director, Larry Epstein will be a senior managing director, and Matt Perry will be a corporate managing director.

“Hiring Ron, Larry and Matt, three very accomplished industry veterans, reflects Savills steadfast commitment to bolstering its presence in and around Boston,” said Janet Woods, vice chairman and Northeast region lead, Savills. “As we expand our services and capabilities to key regions in North America, acquiring top talent ensures that the occupiers that Savills represents have the most skilled and talented professionals addressing their needs.”

The trio has represented occupiers across several industries, predominantly professional services firms and bourgeoning technology and life sciences companies. In addition to the Loomis Sayles transaction, notable deals include representing Simpson Gumpertz & Heger in three leases totaling 150,000 square feet; Risk Strategies for a total of 150,000 square feet across multiple markets; Dataxu (Roku) in a 50,000-square-foot lease; and Infraredx in a 40,000-square-foot lease.

“I have known and worked with Ron for more than 20 years and can attest to the deep level of market expertise he and his team bring to the table,” said Roy Hirshland, vice chairman and Boston market leader for Savills. “With the addition of this team, there’s a natural synergy. We now have a formidable bench of talent that specializes in life sciences, technology and professional services. We are looking forward to continuing to add top professionals who align with our culture, values and professional philosophies.”

Savills has grown significantly in Boston in recent months. In June, the firm acquired T3 Advisors to enhance its capabilities and services within the life sciences and technology sectors. Additionally, the firm has expanded its capabilities across numerous markets over the last two years. Savills has acquired several top brokerage offices, teams and consultants in New York, Calgary, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Nashville and Washington. With 40 offices and more than 900 employees between the US and Canada, Savills provides local and international clients with a cohesive suite of services and solutions in commercial real estate.
