BOSTON–Samuels & Associates announced that it added two new senior leaders to its team. Piero Mendiguetti was appointed Vice President of Human Resources and Mike Levesque was named Vice President of Accounting.
The positions support the continued strength and evolution of one of the region’s best regarded real estate development, investment and management firms.
Piero joins S&A with more than a decade of experience in Human Resources leadership, across a wide array of organizations; he was most recently the Human Resources Director for The Barkan Companies. Throughout his career, Piero has worked with organizations with large employee populations, complex operations and clear growth aspirations. In his role as Vice President of HR, Piero will oversee all areas of human resources, including a focus on creating career pathways and workforce learning programs, advancing DEI goals, and supporting efforts to retain and recruit team members.

A native of Peru, Piero holds degrees from Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University. He is fluent in both Spanish and Italian, lives in Waltham with his wife and dog, and enjoys travel and basketball.

With nearly three decades of experience in the finance and accounting field, Levesque joins S&A from Boston Properties where he was a senior accounting manager; he had previously held accounting roles in the hospitality industry. In his role as Vice President of Accounting, he will oversee accounting, analysis and reporting activities for S&A’s diverse portfolio of mixed-use, multifamily, and development properties and brings a mission driven approach to the accounting model.
