Medway, MA—SALMON Senior Living has hired Jeff Sellers as new executive director
of SALMON at Medway, a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and enhanced care.
Most recently serving as executive director of SALMON’s The Willows at Worcester, an independent living community, Sellers started with SALMON in 2020. In Worcester, Sellers successfully oversaw all community operations and established positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to more effective operative processes, communication, and satisfaction rates.
Sellers attributes his success as executive director to his experience in hospitality, where he oversaw several successful boutique and hotel conversions and established better staff training and business processes to enhance guest experiences and consistently earn top-rated assessments.
“My time in hospitality taught me the importance of customer service, staff training, and the ultimate hospitality goal: making a space, whether temporary or permanent, the best place it can be for guests and residents alike,” says Sellers. “I look forward to bringing this hospitality approach to Medway, enhancing the resident experience and exploring opportunities to provide additional concierge services and a la carte care options to Medway residents.”
Sellers’ transition to Medway’s 57-acre campus will have him oversee multiple care levels in the senior living space, including independent living. The property features a number of amenities that align with Sellers’ hospitality background, including a kayak launch, campus trails, arcade room, ice-skating rink, and hydroponic gardens.
“Jeff’s skillset, experience, and personality make him an ideal fit for Medway given the campus’ extensive offerings,” says Andrew Salmon, Chief Future Officer and third-generation owner. “Jeff’s transition to Medway is the perfect example of SALMON’s commitment to hire and retain top talent, positioning SALMON team members in roles where they may grow and utilize their expertise.”
