BOSTON— RODE Architects announced the promotion of three key team members, underscoring the firm’s commitment to developing internal talent and reinforcing its leadership bench. Jonathan Quinn has been promoted to Senior Associate, while Anna Arnot and Zack Kutchin have been named Associates.
These promotions come as part of RODE’s ongoing efforts to support professional growth and nurture the next generation of firm leadership. Each appointee brings distinct strengths and a shared dedication to design excellence, innovation, and client engagement.
“Jonathan, Anna, and Zack exemplify the collaborative, client-focused approach we value at RODE,” said Kevin Deabler, principal and co-founder of RODE Architects. “Their leadership and contributions have been instrumental to the firm’s continued success. These promotions are both a recognition of their achievements and an investment in the firm’s future.”
Elevating Talent, Shaping the Future
Jonathan Quinn, now a Senior Associate, has over two decades of architectural experience, with a diverse portfolio spanning athletic facilities, industrial logistics centers, and multi-family housing. A LEED Accredited Professional and Registered Architect in Massachusetts, Quinn has played a central role in both project delivery and firm operations. His recent work includes major contributions to Chelsea Point and Freight Farms, where he has demonstrated a consistent ability to translate client goals into thoughtful, high-impact architectural solutions.

Anna Arnot, promoted to Associate, joined RODE in 2018 after a decade in Washington, D.C., where she earned dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Sustainable Design from Catholic University. Arnot is known for her early-stage design guidance, blending programmatic needs with conceptual clarity and passive design strategies. Her work includes notable projects such as Fieldhouse+, Vesper Hotel, and Kendall Square Dining Hall, reflecting her ability to align design vision with functional excellence.

Zack Kutchin, also named an Associate, brings a broad range of experience in multi-family housing, adaptive reuse, and hospitality design. With RODE for eight years, he has led several projects from concept to completion, including 282 Bremen, Lebanon Woolen Mills, and work with New England Development. Kutchin holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona and is recognized for delivering elegant, precise solutions that balance innovation, performance, and sustainability.
RODE Architects has long championed mentorship and internal advancement as pillars of its studio culture. These promotions mark a continuation of that ethos, as the firm looks to expand its impact across the greater Boston region and beyond.
“We’re proud to recognize these three team members for the impact they’ve made on RODE,” said Eric Robinson, principal and co-founder of RODE. “Their growth reflects the direction of the firm and the strength of our next generation of leaders. We’re excited to see them expand their roles, bring fresh perspective, and help shape RODE’s future.”
