WAYLAND, MA — R.W. Holmes announced the lease extension of 49,260 square feet of research and development space at 358 2nd Avenue in Waltham, Massachusetts by QinetiQ, Inc., a global defense and security company.

The lease renewal marks a continued commitment by QinetiQ to maintain its operations in one of Greater Boston’s most vibrant R&D submarkets. The property, owned by Hillside Associates, offers modern, adaptable space designed to support high-tech innovation.

R.W. Holmes Senior Vice President Arthur Amadei represented the landlord, Hillside Associates, in the transaction. QinetiQ, Inc. was represented by Adam Schindler, Vice Chair at Colliers’ Washington, D.C. office, and Jason Rexinis from Colliers’ Boston office.
