BURLINGTON, MA — Medical technology innovator Pramand has signed a 41,411-square-foot lease at Blue Sky Center, a premier office and R&D campus in Burlington, Massachusetts, marking a major relocation and expansion of its corporate headquarters from Bedford.
The top-floor lease, secured by Newmark, reflects continued momentum in the region’s life sciences and med-tech real estate sectors—particularly among firms seeking next-generation, amenity-rich workspaces. The deal was brokered by Newmark’s team of Matthew Malatesta, Tyler McGrail, Michael Frisoli, Eric Jeremiah, and Connall Chamberlain, on behalf of building ownership—a joint venture between Nordblom Company and a global real estate private equity firm.
“This lease highlights the strong demand from innovative companies seeking premier work environments,” said Malatesta. “Pramand’s relocation affirms ownership’s vision to create a destination that fosters collaboration and long-term tenant success.”
The lease comes amid a $10 million capital improvement initiative at Blue Sky Center, which includes the upcoming debut of a 40,000-square-foot amenity hub, designed by SMMA and set to open in late Q3 2025. The hub will serve as a community-focused space with cutting-edge amenities such as a fitness center, conference facilities, and expansive green spaces.
“People want a unique work environment that elevates their productivity and enhances their well-being,” said Crosby Nordblom, Executive VP at Nordblom Company. “It’s no longer about checking boxes—it’s about creating an experience.”
Pramand’s lease follows a 36,000-square-foot deal Newmark arranged for Myomo, another med-tech company, further solidifying Blue Sky Center as a magnet for leading-edge companies in the sector.
CBRE’s Jon Varholak and Perry Beal represented Pramand in the lease negotiations.
