NEWTON, MA– Robby Robertson, Chief Facilities Officer for Lahey Health, will speak at the 8th Annual Healthcare & Medical Facilities Summit on Jan. 18, 2018, at the Newton Marriott Hotel in Newton, MA.
On the panel, Mr. Robertson will join Wendy Gettleman, Vice President of Facilities Management and Real Estate at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a leading expert in facilitating patient and family input into design, and Joe Sziabowski, an architect with a special focus in the design of ambulatory healthcare facilities across the country. Mr. Robertson is currently developing a five-year Master Facilities Plan for the Lahey Health System encompassing 6.9 million square feet with 120 locations, comprising of four acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, numerous ambulatory outpatient centers, along with primary care physician sites located throughout the northeast.
Mr. Robertson was named Chief Facilities Officer for Lahey Health in 2016. Prior to this role he served as Vice President of Real Estate for Lahey Health in 2014 and as Vice President of Facilities and Real Estate Services and Safety Officer for Winchester Hospital since 2009.
Since joining Winchester Hospital in 1995, Mr. Robertson has strategically aligned program growth by quintupling the organization’s physical capacity for the expansion of primary care areas as well as relocation of outpatient services to several key off-sites.
He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the New England Healthcare Engineers Society, and the Boston Chapter of Engineers.
