BOSTON – The award-winning Kimpton Nine Zero, located at the crossroads of Beacon Hill, Downtown Crossing and the Financial District in Boston, announced that it will undergo a bold, top-to-bottom transformation.

As of this month, the hotel is transforming its 190 guest rooms and suites, the living room lobby, and 2,400 square feet of private event and workspace. Nine Zero will remain open throughout the process. Upon completion in late Winter 2018, guests can expect a seductive and design-forward hotel, the new “it” destination for travelers seeking the most luxe experience Boston has to offer.

After Nine Zero’s new design, guests will find a luxurious escape where modern and antique nuances mingle with bespoke residential pleasures. Rooms invite guests to slow their pace and fully unwind with plush leather-laden bed frames and iconic Eames chairs, a midcentury masterpiece as loved for its design as its comfort.

Accessorized with books and dynamic artwork, classic American touches enhance the modern decor. A buzzing lobby will be an experience unto its own – its stunning design is configured to allow business and leisure to seamlessly merge. Rich velvets will play nicely with stone and metallic finishes, and old-fashioned accents like leather-bound books and typewriters will be stationed throughout. Magnetizing business travelers, the hotel’s private event and workspace will be brilliantly flexible and reflective of the latest business trends. Nine Zero’s lounge will also transform; details will be shared soon.

“Nine Zero’s dramatic transformation speaks to Boston’s new role on the world stage. The city has never been more worthy of being in the international limelight, and it continues to change at lightning speed, becoming an all the more desirable destination. When we unveil our luxe new look and feel, we will not only be keeping pace with the times, but innovating the Boston hotel market,” says General Manager of Kimpton Nine Zero Michal Penek.

An exciting addition to Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ recent expansion into the luxury market, Kimpton, along with the hotel’s ownership group, Brookfield Properties, tapped Boston’s Korn Design to reimagine Nine Zero’s next chapter, and California’s Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) to oversee all hotel interiors.

Consistently recognized among the best hotels in New England, including earning a coveted spot on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards, Nine Zero has been an integral part of Kimpton’s portfolio since the company acquired the property in 2006.

Nine Zero offers guests a host of complimentary amenities, including high speed Wi-Fi, overnight shoeshine, personal yoga mats, custom hotel bikes, and morning coffee and tea service. Guests can also enjoy 2,400 square feet of private event and workspace, 24-hour fitness center, in-room spa treatments, express check-in and check-out service, and full concierge services.

With a multi-dimensional location, Nine Zero is at the epicenter of Boston’s social, cultural and commercial hub, sitting at the crossroads of Beacon Hill, Downtown Crossing and the Financial District, and just steps from the Theatre District. Further inspiring guests to enjoy one of the country’s most walkable cities, Nine Zero is situated adjacent to the city’s famed Boston Common and Public Gardens and sits directly on Boston’s historic Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route that links together 16 historic locations — including Faneuil Hall and the Old North Church. Boston can also be enjoyed without ever leaving the hotel; select guest rooms offer spectacular views of Boston Common, Back Bay and the Charles River.

Nine Zero is located at 90 Tremont Street Boston, MA 02108.
