Beverly, MA – SV Design announced the promotion of architect Katy Finkenzeller to Associate at the architecture and interior design firm in Beverly, MA.
Katy began her career in Denver, Colorado before joining SV Design in 2009. Now with nearly twenty years of experience, she has since cultivated her architectural practice and leadership role within the firm’s residential team. Her passion for residential architecture lies in the characteristics of each custom home she works on, whether a family compound on the coast, a Greek Revival-inspired urban renovation, or a ski house up north.
“Katy’s vision and meticulous attention to detail yield beautiful designs that vary in complexity and forever change the way her clients experience their homes,” says SV Design Principal Tobin Shulman. “She is a natural leader, collaborator, and a talented architect with a successful tenure ahead of her here at SV Design.”
After years in the industry, Katy’s reason for entering the field still remains true. “My love for residential design has always been about the client,” she says. “I get excited every day knowing the spaces we’re creating encompass all the little nuances our clients imagined and are a part of their dream home – a place they’ll spend a lifetime making memories.”
Katy is LEED accredited and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University, and a Master of Architecture from University of Colorado.
