BOSTON — Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm serving Greater Boston, has been ranked on the Associated Builders and Contractors’ 2026 Top Performers list, a national recognition honoring member contractors for excellence in safety, quality and workforce development.
Established in 2018, ABC’s annual Top Performers publication ranks companies based on the number of hours worked, while also recognizing achievements in health and safety, quality and project excellence.

As a 2026 Top Performer, Kaplan achieved Platinum status in ABC’s STEP® Health and Safety Management System, a program designed to help leading contractors achieve incident rates significantly below the industry average reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, according to ABC’s Health and Safety Performance Report.
The firm also holds ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) credential, which recognizes excellence in quality, health and safety performance, talent management, craft and management education, and community relations.

Companies are ranked by total hours worked in 2024, as reported in their 2025 STEP applications.
ABC’s 2026 Top Performers are presented by Construction Executive, the association’s magazine focused on the business of construction.
