NORWOOD, MA — John T. Chipman & Company LLP, a leading firm of Certified Public Accountants based in Norwood, Massachusetts, has announced the promotion of Todd J. Chipman, CPA, MST, to the position of Partner. Chipman, who joined the firm in 2006, brings nearly two decades of experience in accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
In his new role, Chipman will continue providing comprehensive tax and advisory services to a broad client base, including corporations, partnerships, S-corporations, and individuals. In addition, he will maintain his leadership role in managing the firm’s Information Technology systems and support clients in implementing and maintaining computerized accounting systems.

Chipman holds a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Bryant University, where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the highest national honor for business students in AACSB-accredited programs. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College.
A respected member of the professional community, Chipman is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He also served on the Board of Directors of the Neponset River Regional Chamber of Commerce for 10 years.
