Boston— Hunneman capped off 2025 with strong performance across its core service lines, completing more than $260 million in investment sales and over 2.5 million square feet of transactions on behalf of clients across a wide range of industries and property types.
Despite a challenging real estate market, Hunneman demonstrated growth and resilience across leasing, property management, and investment sales. The firm brokered more than 1.9 million square feet of leases for landlord and tenant clients in 2025 and significantly expanded its property management platform, increasing its managed portfolio by more than 66 percent year over year. Hunneman now oversees in excess of 16.6 million square feet of commercial real estate throughout New England.
“We are thankful to all our clients who trust us in leasing, selling, managing, and providing the highest level of service and industry expertise for their properties in New England and elsewhere around the country,” said Steve Prozinski, CEO and COO of Hunneman. “In the last year, we have seen remarkable growth across our business lines, including major expansions in our property management portfolio and brokerage services. Our work in 2025 is a reflection of the success of our clients and the dedication of our team in fulfilling Hunneman’s mission to deliver market expertise, integrity, and personalized service.”
Hunneman’s investment sales teams completed more than 30 transactions totaling over $260 million across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. Notable transactions included the $17.5 million sale of 2 Iris Court, a stabilized garden-style apartment community in Acton, Massachusetts, and the $6.5 million sale of an 81,961-square-foot mixed-use portfolio on High Street in Holyoke, consisting of seven buildings, 15 commercial suites, and 46 residential units. Hunneman investment sales professionals Carl Christie and Dan McGee represented the sellers in both transactions.
Leasing activity remained robust throughout the year, with the firm completing more than 90 leasing transactions totaling over 1.9 million square feet. Highlights included seven new office leases totaling 50,339 square feet at 201 Broadway in Cambridge, executed in partnership with The Davis Companies. This activity represented the highest number of office leases completed at any single property in Cambridge in 2025. Another significant transaction was a 70,872-square-foot industrial lease at 200 Danton Drive in Methuen, secured on behalf of tenant CMC North America, which established the site as the company’s new headquarters.
Hunneman’s property management group experienced substantial growth in 2025, adding over 6.4 million square feet across 31 new assets throughout New England. The firm expanded its industrial management portfolio with properties such as 241 Francis Avenue in Mansfield, where Hunneman also brokered a 96,000-square-foot lease for US Lumber Group on behalf of landlord Oliver Street Capital.
