BOSTON– RISE, a Boston-based minority owned, vertically integrated development and construction management firm, and City Realty Group, a community-focused real estate company, announced that the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) has approved the team’s plans for a boutique hotel located at 330 C Street in South Boston.
The 46,600 GSF hotel will offer 72 hotel rooms as well as stylish restaurant/bar and rooftop deck to activate an underutilized corner on the edge of South Boston. This exciting project will help connect the burgeoning Seaport with the longstanding St. Vincent’s section of South Boston, creating a bridge between the long-separated Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and the residential neighborhoods of Southie.

The building will become home to a local restaurant, becoming a new destination in a neighborhood already well known for its night life options. Floor to ceiling glass will invite guests and visitors into the lobby and restaurant space while impeccably appointed rooms will offer tremendous views of the skyline and its surroundings. The hotel will aim to be a temporary home and meeting place for convention attendees, tourists, local events, and the bustling surrounding community.

The attractive, mid-rise building designed by architect Group One Partners will also create significant public improvements for the surrounding area, including sidewalk reconstruction, and pedestrian amenities to create larger sidewalks surrounded with green landscaping and plantings to create an inviting entrance into the neighborhood.
The construction of this project will involve the creation of over 150 construction jobs. Upon completion, the project will create over 50 permanent hotel jobs, supported by the team’s commitment to Local 26, as well as generate thousands of dollars in additional property tax payments annually to the City of Boston.
