ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — Gale Associates, Inc., a nationally recognized consulting engineering firm, announced the appointment of Alan Craigo, PE, BECxP, CxA+BE as the new leader of its Florida office. With more than 28 years of consulting experience in the Sunshine State and a tenure at Gale dating back to 1997, Craigo brings deep expertise and a proven track record of leadership to the role.
In this position, Craigo will oversee day-to-day operations, guide project delivery, strengthen client relationships, support employee development, and drive strategic growth initiatives throughout the region.

Gale’s Florida office, which has been serving clients since 1991, offers decades of experience in the K-12, higher education, entertainment, and municipal sectors. The office is particularly known for its specialized work in planning and designing new and renovated athletic facilities across the state.
Craigo, who most recently served as a Senior Project Manager in Gale’s Building Enclosure Consulting and Commissioning Group, has managed a wide array of enclosure projects throughout his career. His responsibilities have spanned evaluation, field testing, design, construction oversight, and commissioning of building envelope systems and components.
He is widely recognized for his technical oversight, forensic evaluations, peer reviews, remedial designs, and his leadership in maintaining high standards across all phases of project execution.
A Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, Craigo also holds certifications as a Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider (BECxP) and a Commissioning Authority + Building Enclosure (CxA+BE). He is an active member of both the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Craigo earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
