Boston— Fort Point Capital has completed a recapitalization of Boston Green Company, marking a new partnership aimed at accelerating the company’s growth across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Headquartered in Freetown, Boston Green provides a range of environmental services, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation and disposal, industrial cleaning and maintenance, and emergency response services. Its client base spans commercial, industrial, retail, and government sectors.
Under the new agreement, Fort Point Capital will partner with Boston Green’s founders and leadership team, including CEO Adam Dennison, to expand the company’s operational footprint and service capabilities.
“We are excited to partner with Adam Dennison and the rest of the management team to support the company’s growth,” said Christina Pai. “Boston Green has built a reputation as a go-to provider for mission-critical environmental services in New England.”
Dennison said the investment will allow the company to scale its workforce, expand its specialized fleet, and enter new geographic markets.
“This partnership will enable us to take Boston Green to the next level,” Dennison said. “Fort Point’s experience supporting founder-led service businesses aligns perfectly with our long-term vision.”
Fort Point Capital emphasized that the deal reflects its broader strategy of investing in founder- and family-owned companies with strong growth potential. Michael Duffy noted that Boston Green has seen significant expansion in recent years, strengthening its presence throughout New England.
Financing for the transaction was provided by O2 Sponsor Finance, part of Old Second National Bank, along with Brookside Capital Partners. Mirus Capital Advisors served as financial advisor to Boston Green.
The investment positions Boston Green to continue capitalizing on increasing demand for environmental and regulatory services, particularly as businesses and municipalities navigate complex compliance requirements and sustainability goals.
