BEVERLY, MA– Connolly Brothers, Inc., a construction management firm serving private commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, announced that Jay Connolly was elected president and Thaddeus Minshall was named vice president of real estate and development.
Stephen J. Connolly, IV has taken on a newly created role as advisor. In addition, the company is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1880, Connolly Brothers is dedicated to providing quality, professional construction services to its commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. The company’s years of experience enable it to price and budget more accurately, manage more effectively, and add value at every stage in the construction process. In fact, year-in and year-out, over 70% of clients return to Connolly with plans for new construction projects.
“I’m proud of the work we’ve completed over the past 49 years, and the relationships we’ve continued to build along the way while I have been involved with the company,” said Stephen Connolly IV. “I’m also proud of my son and son-in-law for the work they are doing to ensure that the quality of work and unmatched client experience that Connolly Brothers is known for will continue into the future.”
Established by Jay and Thad in 2018, the 1880 Fund is committed to making a difference in local communities by working collaboratively with local agencies, offering support where no other support may be available. For example, last year Connolly sponsored a “Build A Bed” event at its headquarters in Beverly. Teams of two to four people were given the necessary materials and were able to build 61 beds. The newly built bed frames were delivered to children in need, along with a new twin mattress and bedding.
