Franklin, NH – A new era of support for New Hampshire’s military community began on September 18, 2025, as Easterseals New Hampshire officially opened the state’s first-ever Military & Veterans Campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that drew over 1,000 veterans, service members, families, donors, and dignitaries.

Set on a 15-acre site at 27 Holy Cross Road, the newly developed campus—designed and built by PROCON—aims to be a life-changing hub of services, housing, and healing for veterans, first responders, and their families.

“This marks a profoundly meaningful day for service members and veterans across our community and the State of New Hampshire,” said Maureen Beauregard, President and CEO of Easterseals NH & VT. “The dedication and care reflected in this campus inspire great optimism for what’s to come.”

A Transformative Vision Realized

The event was attended by Governor Kelly Ayotte, community leaders, and local organizations. A flyover by an Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter added a dramatic and symbolic tribute to the military community. Guests toured the newly completed facilities and previewed Phase II plans, which include the Solinsky Empowerment Center, Swim With A Mission Aquatics & Fitness Center, and additional affordable housing.

“This campus is more than buildings—it’s a promise kept,” said Al Aldenberg, Chief of Military & Veterans Services Officer at Easterseals NH & VT. “It’s a place of healing, unity, and forward momentum.”

Honoring Service, Building Community

John Stebbins, CEO of PROCON, shared personal reflections on the significance of the project. “This is not just construction—it’s a community built to honor and serve those who serve us. As a company led by generations of veterans, this project is especially meaningful.”

Phase II & Fundraising

To bring Phase II to life, $40 million in additional funding is needed. At the ceremony, Easterseals NH launched a commemorative paver campaign to support the effort. Engraved pavers—placed along the walkway outside the Bernadine Herron Center—will serve as lasting tributes to veterans and first responders.

The Bernadine Herron Center, part of Phase I, also offers 22 hotel-style rooms and flexible event space, with proceeds supporting campus operations.

As the first facility of its kind in the state, the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus stands as a powerful symbol of commitment, gratitude, and healing—a place where those who’ve served can find not just support, but community.
