BOSTON — Avison Young announced that Earth, Inc. has completed a 20,804-square-foot (sf) office lease for the company’s new headquarters at Centerpoint in Waltham, MA.
Avison Young Principals Jack Kerrigan and Steve Cook, along with Associate Virginia Kerrigan, who are all based in the firm’s Boston office, represented Earth in the transaction. Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord Saracen Properties.
Earth will relocate from its current location on Second Avenue in Waltham late this year.
“The entire staff of Earth is excited for this move”, comments Gary Champion, President of Earth. “Centerpoint offered an ideal real estate solution for the impressive growth our company is experiencing. The dramatic interior and exterior spaces create the creative office vibe we were looking for, and will aid Earth’s efforts to attract top-tier talent as we enhance our corporate profile.”
“Saracen Properties is delighted to welcome Earth to Centerpoint,” adds Ted Saraceno, President of Saracen Properties. “Working with Gary Champion and Earth Vice-President Bill Brochu has been a great experience.”
“The creative office environment, paired with the building’s proximity to walkable amenities, attracted Earth to Centerpoint,” states Jack Kerrigan. “The site will provide an excellent location for Earth to continue to grow its brand.”
Centerpoint is a 500,000-square-foot (sf) office and R&D facility, conveniently located just minutes from Route 128 in Waltham. Located on the Watertown line, the building is equidistant from an abundance of amenities in both Watertown Square and downtown Waltham. The building also features a 30,000-sf health club facility.
