BOSTON — Colliers International has promoted David Goodhue to the role of executive managing director and Boston market leader, where he will be responsible for all aspects of the Boston office’s day-to-day leadership and management.
Goodhue will lead the company management alongside Jessica Sawyer, executive vice president of operations.
“We ran an extensive recruiting process in the Boston market and beyond,” said David Amsterdam, president of investments, leasing and the Eastern region for Colliers International. “We selected someone who has the trust and respect of our clients, employees and the real estate community.”
Goodhue joined Colliers nearly 15 years ago. Most recently, he served as an executive vice president and leader of the Southwest team. In 2017, he became a member of the firm’s six-person management committee. In addition to Goodhue’s passion for best-in-class client service, he is committed to ensuring there is an inclusive, collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
“I am proud that Dave will lead the office forward during this exciting time for the City of Boston,” said Tom Hynes, co-chairman at Colliers International Boston. “I am confident that under Dave’s leadership, the office will be as dynamic and progressive as the city itself.”
With Goodhue at the helm, Tom Hynes, Jim Elcock and Kevin Phelan will be taking a step back from Colliers’ day-to-day management to focus on client service, serve as mentors for the firm’s brokerage teams and focus on their philanthropic work within the community.
