BOSTON— Derek Losi and Joe Sciolla of Cresa Boston recently represented Partners In Health (PIH) in a 37,586-square-foot office relocation and expansion to 800 Boylston Street in Boston. Partners In Health, founded in Boston in 1987, delivers healthcare to patients in remote places where healthcare is limited or barely exists.
PIH works closely with national governments and other partners in 10 countries to improve and expand health services to those in need.
The nonprofit organization previously occupied 21,906 SF at 888 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Partners In Health needed a larger office space to accommodate its growing operations.
According to Losi, the new space in the Prudential Center will enhance the work environment and increase productivity for Partners In Health’s employees. The features of the building that attracted Partners In Health were the open layout and convenient Back Bay location. The new location also features easy access to the heart of Boston’s health care community.
Barry Dubé from Cresa’s Project Management Group is overseeing the buildout of the new space to create a collaborative and desirable work atmosphere for Partners In Health.
The projected move-in date is July 1, 2016.
The landlord, Boston Properties, represented itself in the deal.
