CBRE Expands Capital Markets Team in Greater Boston With Strategic Hires

Boston – CBRE announced that Colleen Pentland Lally has joined CBRE Capital Markets as a vice president to focus on multifamily investment sales in Greater Boston, alongside industry veterans Simon Butler, Biria St. John, John McLaughlin, James Troxell and Brian Bowler.

As a recognized global multifamily expert, Pentland Lally will provide unique expertise to international investors and developers entering the New England multifamily market. Leveraging global investment insights and 17 years of commercial real estate experience, she will assist the Greater Boston multifamily team in executing disposition assignments, joint venture structuring, and advising clients with her insights and market knowledge.

Colleen brings years of experience and understanding of international capital markets, which is continuing to play a larger role in U.S. multifamily investments,” said Butler and St. John.

Patrick Stapleton

A 13-year veteran of CBRE, Pentland Lally was most recently a senior member of CBRE’s Global Capital Markets team. In this role, she leveraged global relationships across established and emerging multifamily markets including the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She was involved in the execution of over $2.5 billion in multifamily acquisitions, development, and joint venture equity transactions.

In addition to hiring Pentland Lally, Patrick Stapleton has also recently joined the team as a senior analyst. In this role, Stapleton will focus on underwriting new opportunities and assist with executing existing business. Stapleton joins CBRE from Walker & Dunlop, where he served as a licensed associate appraiser and was responsible for appraising properties from start to finish, including report composition and client communications.
