Wilmington, MA– Camber Development and Wheelock Street Capital announced the completion of a state-of-the-art 237,800 square-foot industrial warehouse and distribution facility located at 800 Salem Street, Wilmington, MA.
The facility, one of the first fully electric industrial buildings in Massachusetts, features 36-foot clear heights, 5,000 Amps of power, 32 EV ready parking spaces, and a solar-ready roof. The building is fully conditioned with both heat and air conditioning and provides 47 loading docks, 322 vehicle spaces and 32 trailer parking spaces. The building is designed to meet the evolving needs of warehousing, distribution, and logistics tenants. JLL has been engaged to represent the Landlord as the building’s leasing agent.
Conveniently situated less than a mile from I-93 and just 20 minutes from downtown Boston, the facility offers easy access to Route 128, I-495, and the broader Boston metropolitan area, making it an ideal location for companies seeking efficient distribution solutions.
“We are excited to introduce this cutting-edge industrial space to the region. With its advanced electric infrastructure and sustainable design, this facility is poised to attract forward-thinking tenants who prioritize both efficiency, robust infrastructure, and environmental responsibility,” said David Wilkinson, Managing Partner at Camber Development.
800 Salem Street not only highlights the future of industrial real estate but also aligns with Massachusetts’ ambitious green energy and clean technology goals. As one of the first fully electric industrial buildings in the state, the facility sets a new standard for sustainability, helping to drive the region’s transition to environmentally responsible infrastructure.
“What the Camber Development team has brought to the market with 800 Salem Street presents an unparalleled opportunity in this area” said Brian Tisbert, Managing Director at JLL. “This facility stands out not only for its sustainable, fully electric design, but also for its strategic location near Boston, which provides access to an exceptional talent pool.”
Camber Development’s commitment to the local community extends beyond construction. To celebrate the commencement of this project, Camber and Dacon Corporation, the design-build general contractor for the project, funded the first year of Build-a-Bureau, a collaborative pilot program between Mission of Deeds and Northeast Metro Tech. The program provides furniture for families transitioning from shelters and offers students hands-on carpentry experience building bureaus for children and families transitioning into homes.
The JLL team representing Camber Development is comprised of Managing Director Brian Tisbert and Christopher Decembrele, Executive Managing Director Christopher Lawrence, and Senior Managing Director Michael Ciummei.
