FRAMINGHAM, MA – Calare Properties announced the promotion of four team members in recognition of their meaningful contributions to the company’s success. These updates also come with the expansion of Calare’s Executive Team, with Todd Barclay being appointed Co-Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Barclay will continue in his role as Head of Investments, where he leads Calare’s investment initiatives. In his expanded role as Co-CIO, he will also oversee the strategic direction and management of Calare’s diverse commercial property portfolio primarily spanning the Northeast region.
“This appointment reflects Todd’s exceptional contributions to our firm where he has played a pivotal role leading our acquisition and development team, as well as guiding our investment strategy,” said Bill Manley, Calare’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer. “Under his leadership, our investment team has achieved remarkable growth and success, aligning with our commitment to deliver value to our clients and stakeholders.”
Barclay joined Calare in 2017 as Vice President, Acquisitions and Portfolio Management. In this role, he applied his extensive experience in private equity real estate to support Calare in analyzing new investment opportunities and managing day-to-day operations of the real estate portfolio. Prior to Calare, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions at KS Partners and was a Portfolio Manager at New Boston Real Estate Fund. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Richmond, a Master’s degree in finance from Boston College, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
In addition to Barclay’s appointment, Calare celebrated the promotion of three team members to Senior Associate:
• Bailey Duffy – Duffy has been with Calare for three years, supporting Calare’s acquisitions team. He joined the firm as an analyst, progressively taking on more responsibility in analyzing new acquisitions and asset management. Duffy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
• Sam Joseph – Joseph started with Calare in 2022 as an investment analyst and has expanded Calare’s investment outreach in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
• Lauren Manley – Manley joined Calare as a property and asset manager in 2021 and focuses on the day-to-day operations and leasing for many Calare assets. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont.
“I am exceptionally proud of this team and all that we’ve accomplished,” added Manley. “The expertise of this group – coupled with that of the broader Calare team – will be instrumental as we navigate evolving market dynamics and seek strategic opportunities for growth.”
