Boston– Barkan Management Company has secured a management contract for a mixed-use condominium located on the Roxbury-Jamaica Plain border in Boston.
As of October 1, 2020, Barkan is providing a full spectrum of management services to 1785 Columbus Condominium Trust, a seven story, 133,223 square foot commercial condominium.
1785 Columbus was developed by Watermark LLC., which is a joint venture between Horizons for Homeless Children (a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of homeless children) and Watermark Development Inc. Formerly the site of a vacant warehouse, the location was identified as a high-need area for Horizon’s services. The organization will occupy several floors of the new building, with a move-in date of early to mid 2021.
Jerry Meaney, Vice President and Regional Director, will serve as Account Executive and will oversee the day-to-day management.
“We are pleased to secure this full services management contract and expand our portfolio of commercial/mixed use condominiums in Metro Boston,” said Meaney. “We look forward to meeting and working with the tenants in this beautiful new building and anticipate a very successful, multi-year partnership.”
