BOSTON–The Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC MA) welcomes Samilys Rodriguez as its Director of Career Development & Industry Inclusion.
In her previous roles within the construction and design industry, Rodriguez established best practices for contract compliance related to disadvantaged business utilization and workforce diversity goals and led assessment of diversity and inclusion practices to strengthen recruitment, training, talent management, pipeline development, and employee engagement & retention strategies.
Rodriguez comes to AGC MA from the Center for Women & Enterprise, where she oversaw efforts to help women business enterprises.

As Director of Career Development & Industry Inclusion, Rodriguez will lead AGC MA’s Committee for Diversity & Inclusion and Workforce Development Task Force. Both groups spearhead AGC MA industry advancement initiatives by developing key events and programs, including the Emerging Leadership Development Series, Diversity Summit, Elementary School Pipeline Partnerships, Building Advancement Externship Program, and participation in Construction Inclusion Week.
