BOSTON–WinnCompanies, a national property development and management company, announced a series of promotions to expand the company’s executive leadership team.

A 30-year veteran of the real estate management industry, Doug Jones has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President of WinnResidential Military Housing Services. Mr. Jones oversees a portfolio of 19,000 homes for soldiers and their families spread across five states. He also has manages the Operations Technology Team which provides technical support services for WinnResidential Military Housing Services. Mr. Jones is the current Chairman of the National Apartment Association’s Privatized Military Housing Committee.

Brian Kean, Executive Vice President of WinnResidential, Boston and New York Regions

Brian Kean, formerly a Senior Vice President for WinnResidential, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of WinnResidential for the Boston and New York Regions. This role will see him supervising all property management operations for more than 200 properties in the company’s urban portfolio in Massachusetts and New York, totaling more than 18,000 apartment units, 73 condominiums, 11 co-op units, and commercial spaces.

John Kuppens, Executive Vice President of WinnResidential, Northeast Region

John Kuppens has been promoted from a Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President of WinnResidential for the Northeast Region. In his new role, Mr. Kuppens will oversee management operations throughout Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and parts of Massachusetts and New York. This portfolio includes more than 140 properties, totaling almost 14,000 apartment units and more than 760 condominium units, as well as commercial spaces.

Jerry Lemmon, Executive Vice President of WinnResidential, New Business Development and Central/South Region

Jerry Lemmon, formerly a Senior Vice President for WinnResidential, will be taking on a new dual role as the company’s Executive Vice President of New Business Development and as Executive Vice President of the company’s portfolio in the Central/South Region. This role will expand Mr. Lemmon’s responsibilities to include overseeing management operations throughout Florida, Georgia and Texas and will task him with recognizing new opportunities and forming strategic partnerships for WinnResidential.

Jim Aliberti, Senior Vice President, WinnResidential, West Region

Jim Aliberti has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the West Region of WinnResidential. Most recently, Mr. Aliberti served as WinnResidential’s Divisional Vice President for California, where he managed the daily operations of WinnResidential properties in that state. In his new role as Senior Vice President of WinnResidential’s West Region, Aliberti will oversee all property management and maintenance for WinnResidential’s West Coast operations, totaling more than 98 properties with more than 9,800 residential units.

David Blumberg, Senior Vice President, WinnResidential, Boston Region

An industry veteran with more than two decades of property management experience, David Blumberg was recently promoted from Divisional Vice President to Senior Vice President of WinnResidential. In his new role, Mr. Blumberg is responsible for overseeing the management operations of more than160 mixed-use properties within WinnResidential’s Boston Region, totaling more than 11,000 apartment homes, 73 condominiums and commercial spaces.

Brett Meringoff, Senior Vice President, WinnDevelopment

Brett Meringoff, formerly Vice President of WinnDevelopment in the Mid-Atlantic region, will assume the role of Senior Vice President of WinnDevelopment. Mr. Meringoff will assume responsibility for oversight of all of WinnDevelopment operations in the Mid-Atlantic Region including asset acquistions, project financing, strategy and conceptualization, and overseeing project development through to completion.

Kirstin Rich, Senior Vice President of Operations Support Services, WinnResidential Military Housing Services

Kirstin Rich has been promoted to Senior Vice President for WinnResidential Military Housing Services from her previous role as Vice President. Ms. Rich oversees a portfolio of 3,700 homes for airmen across four Western U.S. states. She manages development and implementation of policies and procedures for WinnResidential military housing communities. Ms Rich also directs the Team responsible for quality control and operational support services for the military housing portfolio.
