SGA receives the 2021 Life Sciences Design Firm of the Year Award

Recent Notable Projects

60 Guest Street in Boston Landing, Allston/Brighton, MA

The proposed nine-story structure that will offer 320,000-square-feet of state-of-the-art lab and office space. The project will be an iconic building visible from the Massachusetts Turnpike that will easily hold its own among local landmarks such as New Balance’s Global Headquarters, the Boston Celtics’ Auerbach Center, and the Bruins’ Warrior Ice Arena. As designed, 60 Guest will be an important addition to both the vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood of Boston Landing and to Allston/Brighton’s emerging Life Sciences cluster.

88 Black Falcon Terminal, Boston Waterfront

This project is a four-story addition at 88 Black Falcon Avenue, a proposed Water Dependent Industrial, Office, and Life Science redevelopment on the South Boston Waterfront that will total approximately 684,510 square feet upon completion. A former army base on the South Boston Waterfront, 88 Black Falcon is currently a three-story, 353,910-square-foot structure that extends eastward into Boston Harbor. The addition, designed by SGA, will stack four stories atop the existing building, nearly doubling the amount of rentable space.

85 Walnut Street, Watertown, MA

85 Walnut St. in Watertown, MA is a new 215,000-square-foot building that will provide a state-of-the-art, lab-ready facilities attracting elite talent and tenants. In addition, a parking structure and a lush public park will be situated on the five-acre property. SGA is using the existing, under-utilized green space that wasn’t accessible to the public and turning it into a unique, shared outdoor environment. Highlights include a central open green space, amphitheater seating, and paths for pedestrians and bicycles.
