Sean Moriarty Joins Hancock Associates as Project Manager and Wetland Scientist

Danvers, MA — Hancock Associates announced that Sean Moriarty has joined the firm as a Project Manager and Wetland Scientist.

Sean has over 20 years of experience as a wetland scientist and wildlife biologist in the environmental consulting industry. He is responsible for collaborating with Hancock’s engineers on project planning, developing scopes and budgets, writing proposals, completing permit application packages and ensuring projects stay on schedule. Sean will also be conducting wetland delineations, assessing wetland functions and values, providing support for rare species and general wildlife considerations and presenting projects to local boards. He is based in Hancock’s Danvers office at 185 Centre Street.

Sean has extensive experience with environmental permitting and compliance and has led and coordinated ecological assessments and environmental permitting efforts throughout North America. He is skilled in wetland delineations, Clean Water Act Section 401/404 permitting, wildlife habitat assessments, rare species surveys, Shoreline Cleanup and Assessment Technique (SCAT), Emergency Response Incident Command System (ICS), conducting research and project management.

Sean has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from the University of New Hampshire and has completed graduate course work in Natural Resources at the university. He is a member of The Wildlife Society and the Society of Wetland Scientists. Sean lives in Durham, New Hampshire.
