Sanborn Head Announces Five Senior Staff Promotions

Concord, NH– Sanborn, Head & Associates, Inc. announced five senior leadership promotions.

Brian Beaudoin

Brian Beaudoin, PE, has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Brian joined Sanborn Head in 2003 and has since demonstrated a strong record of innovation and technical excellence. Brian exemplifies Sanborn Head’s greater good philosophy and is a strong advocate for the firm, both internally with staff and his partners, and externally with his interactions with clients, peers, and business partners. As the head of the Solid Waste business group, Brian is responsible for developing Sanborn Head’s team and ensuring they deliver outstanding client service. He is an avid learner and constantly looking for ways to improve both technically and professionally. Brian is on the Board of Directors for ACEC/VT and is active in other environmental and renewable energy organizations in Vermont.

Heather James, PE, has been promoted to Vice President. Heather joined Sanborn Head in 2020 and has quickly established herself as a trusted advisor to many Energy group clients and a thoughtful manager and leader of Sanborn Head’s staff. Heather is a chemical engineer with expertise in process and mechanical design for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sectors. With her previous experience as a technical lead and manager of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contract projects involving all aspects of LNG and LPG facilities, Heather obtained her PE in mechanical engineering to best serve the needs of her clients who continue to seek her out for her technical support and great service. Passionate about her work and sharing her industry experience with others, Heather has embraced her role as a supervisor and mentor to help her team members continue to develop their skills and take on new challenges at the firm.

Heather Little

Heather Little, PG, has been promoted to Project Director. Since joining Sanborn Head in 2004, Heather has consistently provided high-quality technical work as she forged strong relationships with many of Sanborn Head’s Solid Waste clients. An expert in the field of air quality and air regulations, Heather leads Sanborn Head’s air services group. Her technical excellence, wealth of industry knowledge, and focus on client service has made her a key player in the solid waste practice where she also manages the Landfill Gas Management SuiteTM (LFGMS) software that delivers real-time information to clients. As a Project Director, Heather will continue to lead Sanborn Head’s air services group, managing the team as they deliver on client commitments while leading the effort to bring on new clients.

Seth Soos

Seth Soos, PE, has been promoted to Vice President. Seth joined the firm in 2009 and transitioned from Sanborn Head’s Industrial practice to the fast-growing Energy practice. Seth demonstrated a keen understanding of the technical aspects of the business and exerted a collaborative leadership style that has earned him the trust and respect of his colleagues and clients. He assumed leadership of the Energy practice at the beginning of 2020. Seth contributes diverse experience as a consulting engineer in technical, design, and managerial roles. He is a key contributor to internal initiatives and a highly respected leader with both staff and clients alike. Seth shares his technical expertise with Sanborn Head’s growing Energy team and actively manages his team’s development as a mentor and manager.

Kent Walker

Kent Walker, PE, has been promoted to Project Director. Kent joined the firm in 2011 and quickly took ownership of some of the Developer group’s most complex projects. Throughout his time at Sanborn Head, Kent has demonstrated a strong ability to create trusted relationships, not only with clients but also with regulators and other external project team members. Kent has become the lead for several key developer clients, and he has extensive experience guiding clients through the MCP program on large scale Massachusetts-based development projects. He has served as the Health and Safety Coordinator for the Westford office for several years, acting as a role model and a resource when health and safety questions arise.
