Rod Shaffert Joins Bowdoin Construction

NEEDHAM, MA–Bowdoin Construction announced that Rod Shaffert has joined the firm as Vice President/Project Executive to lead Bowdoin’s Worcester office and growth initiatives in central Massachusetts.

In this role, his duties include client advocacy, business development, pre-construction oversight, construction operations support, and assurance of customer satisfaction and retention.

Rod brings more than 35 years of construction experience, 30 of those working in central and western Massachusetts, and he has a comprehensive background building academic, medical, corporate, industrial, senior living, residential, and retail facilities.

Rod is a past-president and current board member for the Design Build Institute of America – New England Region; he is a Corporator of the YMCA of Central MA, serving on their properties committee; and he has been a frequent speaker for the Eastern Region of APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities.
