Boston – Boston law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster announced that attorney Lauren Galvin co-authored a chapter for the 2019 first supplement to the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) Massachusetts Zoning Manual.

The chapter, “Subdivision Control Law,” addresses the mechanics of recording or filing a plan, sets forth the elements that should appear in preliminary and definitive subdivision plans, and examines planning board rules and regulations.

As an Associate in the firm’s Litigation practice, Galvin conducts all states of litigation including initiation, discovery, trial preparation and appeals. Additionally, she regularly advises on a wide range of issues that arise in the context of land use, eminent domain, local legislation, elections, public records requests, open meetings, conflicts of interest, trustee process, bankruptcy, licensing and contracts.
