NEWTON, MA–Peter Cormier has joined Cranshaw Construction as a Project Executive. Peter will oversee Cranshaw’s latest work at Assembly Row in Somerville, which includes a 14-story 615,000 SF mixed use office and retail building, and a 24-story 525,000 SF mixed use retail and residential building.
Cranshaw began construction of Assembly Row in 2009 with utility and infrastructure work supporting the entire 22-acre mixed-use development, and from 2012-2014, provided construction management services for nearly 500,000 SF of theatre, retail/office shell and core, and the parking garage.
Peter joins Cranshaw from Turner Construction and has vast experience in the field on a wide variety of project and building types. Most recently, he completed the complex fast-track Terminal B Optimization project at Logan Airport. Other key projects Peter has worked on include Massport’s 2050 Garage Expansion and Economy Parking Garage, Vertex’s Fan Pier Lab & Office Buildings, Harvard University’s Dunster House Renovation, MIT’s Brain & Cognitive Center, and the Stilling Street Office & Garage.
