NAIOP Massachusetts to Honor Peter Kochansky of Goulston & Storrs and Michael Buckley of Avison Young at Annual Meeting

NEEDHAM, MA–NAIOP Massachusetts announce the recipients of the Chapter’s 2021 Government Affairs Champion Award and the 2021 President’s Award. The awards will be presented at the Chapter’s Annual Meeting, preceding NAIOP’s Annual Market Forecast on December 3rd.
Peter Kochansky of Goulston & Storrs, will receive this year’s Government Affairs Champion Award in honor of his tremendous contributions to NAIOP’s advocacy, providing detailed input and analysis on NAIOP’s legislative, judicial, and regulatory advocacy.
“In 2021, NAIOP’s government affairs agenda grew exponentially. Whether it was navigating the impacts of a prolonged global pandemic on the industry and the many related policies, laws and Executive Orders, or weighing in on economic development and climate legislation, or shaping regulations at the state and local levels, Peter Kochansky was critical to NAIOP’s work,” said Tamara Small, CEO of NAIOP Massachusetts. “His detailed analysis and expert input allowed the organization to provide technical input on a wide range of issues. NAIOP is grateful for Peter’s expertise, commitment and tireless advocacy efforts on behalf of the commercial real estate industry.”

The NAIOP President’s Award will be presented to Michael Buckley of Avison Young in recognition of his exceptional leadership, vision, and creativity as Vice-Chair of NAIOP’s Program Committee.
