BOSTON–SV Design announced that founding principal Jean Verbridge, ASID, IIDA, has been inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame.

The awards gala was held last month at The InterContinental Boston by New England Home. A panel of distinguished design professionals selected inductees. Those chosen have remarkable careers in the residential design industry.

Jean is a visionary, leader, mentor, interior designer, and businessperson, whose expertise and creative mind have impacted the North Shore, New England, and beyond. With a design career spanning over four decades, she has a breadth of experience in interior design and décor ranging from residential to large commercial and corporate projects. Jean’s career started with corporate design and transitioned to a mix of commercial and residential projects after renovating her own house in the early 1990s.

She established herself as a residential and commercial interior designer on the North Shore. Her appreciation for details and passion for involving interior design in the early stages of the creative process led her to team up with architect Thaddeus S Siemasko and, in 1999, to cofound Siemasko + Verbridge, an architecture and interiors firm headquartered in Beverly, Massachusetts. Jean and Thad have focused on private residences, country clubs, corporate spaces, yacht clubs, academic institutions, affordable housing, and multi-family projects. The powerhouse duo has grown the firm’s client list from the North Shore to Cape Cod, New England, Florida, and Colorado.

SV Design, Siemasko + Verbridge specializes in beautiful and functional architecture and interiors. For three decades, SV Design has built a reputation from Boston’s North Shore to the Cape and beyond for residential, commercial, non-profit, academic, and community spaces of character and integrity. SV Design’s multidisciplinary team engages closely with clients to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and steward projects from site planning to the details of décor.
