BOSTON – WS Development announces that INDOCHINO, the global leader in custom apparel, will open a showroom in Seaport in early 2019. Known for its personalized apparel and experiential approach to retail, Indochino makes custom clothing an affordable reality across North America.

INDOCHINO’S showroom, located at 79 Seaport Boulevard Boston, MA 02210, will offer Seaport visitors an elevated and truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Customers are paired with their own expert Style Guide who walks them through a unique design process to create suits, shirts, blazers, chinos and overcoats made just for them.

“Indochino was part of the first wave of digital retailers who foresaw the immense value in brick-and-mortar stores. Its modern and ultra-tailored take on the customer experience sets them apart – it is nothing short of thrilling for us to welcome them to the Seaport. This neighborhood is replete with a sense of style and creativity; we have no doubt the thousands of professionals here will enthusiastically connect with the brand,” says Todd Norley, Vice President of Leasing, WS Development.

Seaport will be INDOCHINO’s second showroom in Boston and will complement its Newbury Street location as the company seeks to grow one of its largest markets and offer more convenient options for customers in the city.

“Newbury Street was among the first brick-and-mortar showrooms we opened and is one of our busiest locations so it’s clear that our experiential approach, personalized product and attractive price point resonates with Bostonians and their keen sense of style,” said Drew Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of Indochino. “We’ve been looking for the ideal location to open a second showroom in Boston for some time and the vibrant district of Seaport really hits the mark as one of the city’s premier lifestyle destinations. We can’t wait to open our doors in early 2019.”

During an hour-long appointment, customers choose from hundreds of fabrics and endless complimentary customization options including lapels, buttons, pockets, linings and monograms. Garments are then made to their precise measurements and shipped directly to their door in just two weeks for a perfect fit, hassle free. Customer profiles are stored online for easy repeat shopping in the showroom or from the comfort of their home.

Custom suits start at $399 with shirts from $79, giving customers access to the superior quality and fit of tailored clothing at a price comparable to ready-to-wear. The brand is ideal for anyone looking to upgrade their professional wardrobe, suit up for special occasions such as a wedding, or sharpen up a casual look. The company also recently launched custom chinos and overcoats. Corey Bialow of Bialow Real Estate represented Indochino in the negotiation of the lease.

As the global leader in made to measure apparel, INDOCHINO has developed the shopping experience of the future.  Born out of the belief that you don’t need to spend a fortune on a custom wardrobe, INDOCHINO was the first company to disrupt the retail secret by making perfect-fitting, personalized apparel on a mass scale. Customers take on the role of designer, picking out every detail of their suits and shirts to make them truly one-of-a-kind. These garments are made to their precise measurements and shipped directly to their door, hassle free. The company’s omni-channel approach allows them to shop online or in person at any INDOCHINO showroom.
