Cambridge, MA – Freudenheim Partners announced the sale of two Cambridge properties on behalf of Just A Start, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting equity by providing access to stable housing and building pathways to economic opportunity.
1035 Cambridge Street, a 2,961 SF office condominium located in Cambridge, bordering
Somerville, MA, providing easy access to I-93, MBTA Green Line (Union Sq) & Red Line (Kendall/MIT, & Central Sq) Stations was purchased by Michael Grill for $1,275,000.
1175 Cambridge Street, a 7,470 SF retail space on the ground floor and lower level of the building was acquired by the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority for $1,975,000, with future redevelopment potential aligned with the CRA’s long-term economic development efforts.
Leigh Freudenheim and Ellie Cullinan of Freudenheim Partners represented Just A Start in the transactions and procured the buyers for both properties.

As part of its continued growth, Just A Start has relocated to its newly built headquarters at Rindge Commons, located at 430 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge. The 70,000 SF mixed-use development near Alewife Station serves as an “economic mobility hub”, housing all of Just A Start’s programs, including: workforce training initiatives in biomedical, IT, and youth construction careers, housing development and services, and financial opportunity programs. The project also includes four pre-K classrooms and 24 affordable residential apartments.
