LEXINGTON, MA–Four local biotechnology companies are leasing the whole of 75 Hayden Ave. in Lexington, a speculative lab building developed by King Street Properties, Boston Busines Journal reported.
The 214,440-square-foot, four-story lab building will be home to Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Frequency Therapeutics, Integral Health and Voyager Therapeutics, according to BBJ.
“King Street Properties started construction in 2018 on a speculative basis — meaning the property didn’t have a tenant leased before building began. But it was always intended to be a lab, and that contributed to the success in fully leasing the building before it’s officially open” BBJ reported, citing , Michael Diminico, the firm’s executive director.
The property is leased by JLL.
BBJ reported the leases break down as follows:
- Dicerna Pharmaceuticals: 91,728 square feet, represented by Roy Hirshland and Jeremy Hood of T3 Advisors.
- Frequency Therapeutics: 61,307 square feet, represented by Greg Klemmer and Evan Gallagher of Colliers International.
- Voyager Therapeutics: 32,152 square feet, represented by Jon Varholak and Eric Smith of CBRE.
- Integral Health: 29,623 square feet, represented by Alex Plaistead and Greg Lucas of CBRE.
