Devon Morse Joins Hancock Associates as a Project Wetland Scientist

Danvers, MA Hancock Associates announced that Devon Morse has joined the firm as a Project Wetland Scientist.

Her responsibilities include delineating, identifying and monitoring wetlands and coastal resources and aiding in the filing process of projects. She is based out of Hancock’s Danvers office at 185 Centre Street and will also support Hancock’s Boston office of H.W. Moore at 121 East Berkeley Street as well as projects along the coast to the South Shore.

Devon has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College and will be completing additional coursework through the highly regarded Swamp School this winter. She is a ACOE Professional Wetland Delineator, Wildlife Emergency Services Certified and Wildlife Search and Rescue Certified. Devon is a member of the Society of Wetland Science and the PADI Dive Community.

Prior to joining Hancock, Devon was a Wetland Specialist, Regulatory Analyst and Marine Biologist/Educator. She is experienced in coastal species, native/non-native plant analysis, habitat and bird identification, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and overall ecosystem management.
