Cushman & Wakefield Announces Twelve Boston Promotions

Boston– Cushman & Wakefield announced promotions in the Boston office to elevate top talent and more closely align the firm with client needs. Promotions ranged from Senior Associate to Vice Chair, across skills and functions including Senior Housing Capital Markets, Brokerage, Valuation & Advisory and Marketing.

Senior Housing Capital Markets

Rick Swartz has been named Vice Chair. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2003 as a Managing Director and Principal responsible for originating, structuring and placing debt and equity investments nationally. In 2007 he opened the firm’s Boston office where he continues to serve the firm’s clients nationally. In 2011, Swartz initiated the firm’s Senior Housing Capital Markets Group.

Bonnie Tung has been named Senior Marketing Specialist. She is responsible for visual marketing and delivering materials from concept development to production in support of the Senior Housing Capital Markets team.Brokerage

Mark Mulvey has been named Executive Managing Director. Mulvey has been in the real estate business for over 18 years representing corporate clients (office, R&D and manufacturing users) on a national and international basis. In addition to his multi-market practice, he also focuses in the greater Boston suburban office and R&D markets and specifically the Route 495 North and Route 128 Central corridor.

Christopher Walsh has been named Senior Director. Walsh works on the Cambridge brokerage team where he is responsible for providing strategy and brokerage services for clients in the Cambridge and inner-suburban submarkets. His concentration is primarily on tenant and landlord representation in the lease and sale of office, lab and R&D space. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Walsh served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, with combat deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Blake Baldwin has been named Director. Baldwin works in the North Suburban Brokerage Group where he specializes in new business development and provides brokerage services for both landlords and tenants. He focuses on sale and lease transactions involving suburban office and industrial properties. Additionally, he represents suburban Boston-based tenants with their national and global real estate needs.

Kevin McNamara has been named Senior Associate. McNamara is a Route 128 expert with a specialty in providing brokerage and transaction services for Boston-based global portfolio companies. Twice nominated for the Rising Star of the Year award, he has excelled with business development responsibilities as well as providing exceptional service to all clients around the world.

Capital Markets

Ross Fishman has been named Senior Associate. Fishman joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2016 as a member of the Capital Markets team, focused on investment sales and recapitalizations of assets in the Greater Boston market.  Since 2016, the team has collectively valued over $5.6 billion in commercial product across the Downtown and Suburban landscape.

Jack Ingham has been named Associate. Ingham joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2016 as a member of the Capital Markets team, focused on investment sales and recapitalizations of assets in the Greater Boston market.  Since 2016, the team has collectively valued over $5.6 billion in commercial product across the Downtown and Suburban landscape.

Valuation & Advisory

Craig Segien has been named Director. Segien joined the Valuation & Advisory Group in 2014 and has analyzed and valued over $16 billion in for-rent and for-sale housing totaling more than 55,000 units, $10 billion in office product and $450 million in retail product.

Project & Development Services

Jim Davis has been named Vice President. Davis oversees all project and relocation activities including programming, design, contractor/consultant selection and project execution. He brings over 12 years of project management and construction experience.

Joel Schur has been named Vice President. Schur brings more than 25 years of practical expertise in corporate real estate and construction. He has led multiple strategic and project planning initiatives ranging from $6 to $22 million, with a wide range of small- to large-scale projects totaling over 12 million square feet.

Marketing

Aaron Sturgeon has been named Senior Graphic Designer. Sturgeon is a veteran in the design industry with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of visual media. He produces a wide range of print and multi-media products in support of the New England region.
