BOSTON – The Boston office of Cresa announced that it has been recognized as one of the Top Places to Work for 2018 by The Boston Globe.
The 11th Annual Top Places to Work recognition applauds the most admired workplaces in the state, based on anonymous feedback collected through an employee-based survey. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.
“It is an honor to be recognized by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts,” said Adam Subber, managing principal at Cresa. “At our Boston office, we foster a culture that epitomizes collaboration, respect for all, and an unwavering commitment and passion for our work. We are committed to our employees, and invest in sustaining a positive workplace culture, which is why we are able to attract and retain the best talent possible. We continually strive to make everyone feel like a valued member of the team and pride ourselves on providing challenging opportunities to grow and develop, all while delivering valuable services to our clients.”
The Boston office lives by the mantra of “do the right thing”: for its clients and for its staff. This philosophy extends outside of the office, as the company embraces numerous charities such as the Greater Boston Food Bank, Pan-Mass Challenge, Habitat for Humanity, the Special Olympics of Massachusetts and many others. This charity work helps not only in allowing the company to give back to the community but also to rally together internally, promote team building, and help build morale.
“Making employees happy doesn’t have to take a lot of effort or money, but it does require companies to put workers first,” said Katie Johnston, the Globes Top Places to Work editor. “Our winning companies know that their people are their most valuable assets.”
The rankings in the Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from nearly 82,151 individuals at 318 organizations in Massachusetts. The winners share a few key traits, including offering progressive benefits, giving their employees a voice, and encouraging them to have some fun while they’re at it.
