BOSTON – Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) Achievement Awards, which will recognize the Greater Boston area’s most significant real estate deals during 2015, as well as honoring local industry professionals who have distinguished themselves among their peers.
At the awards gala on March 3, 2016 at the InterContinental Boston, Deal of the Year Awards will be presented for Office (Boston, Greater Cambridge and Suburban), Retail, Industrial, Life Science and Most Creative deals, and the Investment Sale of the Year. A new Community Impact Award has also been added this year, recognizing a transaction that had a significantly positive effect on the community. In addition, Special Recognition Awards will be presented to individuals for Broker and Landlord of the Year, Rising Star, and Collaborating Professional of the Year.
For the first time, nominations for Collaborating Professional and Landlord of the Year may be submitted by non-CBA members, and non-members are eligible to be nominated for these categories. For all other award categories, only CBA members may submit nominations, and only CBA members are eligible to be nominated.
“The brokerage community plays a key role in Greater Boston’s vibrant commercial real estate industry, and our awards event is the one night each year when we acknowledge and celebrate their achievements,” said Commercial Brokers Association President David Fitzgerald. “These accomplishments involve not only members of our industry, but also the landlord, architectural, legal, and financial communities, and we want to more significantly recognize their contributions as well as those projects that have benefited nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.”
The deadline for nominations for the CBA Achievement Awards is Friday, January 15, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. For more information and to submit nominations, visit:
