WinnCompanies was chosen by the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) to redevelop MEM – the first public housing development and one of the largest in New England. The proposed project would take place over four phases, calling for approximately 3,000 new units, including replacement of all existing units, creation of workforce (middle-income) units, as well as market rate apartments and home ownership condominiums. Built in the 1930s, the complex currently consists of 1,016 subsidized apartments and row houses.

“We are excited to be part of such an important project for the city – one that will have a profound and lasting impact on residents, businesses, and community and educational organizations,” said Jennifer Pinck, founder and president of Pinck & Co. “We are also thrilled to work on a major renovation project that will integrate mixed-income housing units and contribute to the economic and cultural diversity of Boston. This is a much-needed initiative for the city.”
