Maureen Hickey, Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Campus Planning and Development at Northeastern, to Speak at the Academic Real Estate Summit

NEWTON, MA– Academic Real Estate Summit announced that Maureen Hickey, Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Campus Planning and Development at Northeastern University, will be one of the speakers at the 8th annual Academic Real Estate Summit on Feb. 27 at Newton Marriott Hotel in Newton, MA. The summit is organized by Boston Real Estate Times.

Ms. Hickey is the Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Campus Planning and Development Department of Northeastern University.

Her work includes creating a strategic plan for real estate, including opportunities for public-private partnerships; maintaining the Institutional Master Plan; and overseeing campus-wide planning initiatives related to sustainability, transportation, and ADA accessibility.

Ms. Hickey previously worked in development for Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) and for Harvard University’s Allston Development Group.  She received a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
