Lexington Medical Expands with a New Office in Billerica Massachusetts

BILLERICA, MACEO of Lexington Medical Inc., Leon Amariglio, joined by President & CEO of the Massachusetts Life Science Center (MLSC), Travis McCready, Kendalle Burlin O’Connell, VP for Member Services & General Counsel from MassBio, founders, employees, and friends, celebrated the grand opening of the company’s new headquarters in Billerica, MA.

Lexington Medical is developing abdominal surgical instruments, with a novel business model designed to substantially lower costs of healthcare delivery. The company was founded by medical device industry veterans with experience in both S&P 500 medical device suppliers as well as innovative technology start-ups.  The new 8,000 square feet facility will house Lexington Medical’s 10 employees, with room for future growth.

lexington-medical-r“We founded Lexington Medical to tackle the ever-growing costs of Healthcare in the U.S., especially for medical devices.” said Leon Amariglio, Founder and CEO of Lexington Medical and a successful Medical Device industry veteran. “We are excited to be moving to larger space which provides us the ability to substantially grow our company and fulfill our mission. We look forward to our commercial launch and helping healthcare providers deliver quality care at a lower cost.”
