D.F. Pray Welcomes Darren LeClair to Toronto Office

SEEKONK, MA– D.F. Pray, a North American general contractor and construction management firm, announced that Darren LeClair has joined the firm’s Toronto office as Director of Canadian Projects. In this new role, Darren will oversee the firm’s Canadian projects, working closely with clients, owners, and project managers on the successful completion of projects in several vertical markets.

Reporting to Vice President of Canadian Operations Matt DeThomas, he will also be responsible for enhancing the firm’s position in the Toronto marketplace.

Pray International team,” said Scott Pray, president of D.F. Pray. “Darren has a proven track-record of providing client-focused project leadership and building strong project management teams. We are confident that he will play a pivotal role as we grow the Toronto office.”

Darren brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial building construction, engineering, and project management. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial construction, including proposal development and estimating, staff and budget management, project development, and client relationship management.

Previously, he held senior project management positions for several construction management firms in Toronto, and in his last role, managed approximately $100 million in projects at a time. Darren has a passion for building challenging commercial, restaurant, and retail projects. He attended George Brown College in Toronto, where he studied Construction Engineering Technology and Management. Darren is currently working on renovations to the U.S. Consulate in Toronto as well as the Simpson Tower revitalization project at 401 Bay Street (Hudson’s Bay Company) in Toronto.
