Colliers Promotes Robert Brierley to Head of Real Estate Management Services

BOSTON– Colliers International New England announced that it has promoted property, asset, and project management veteran, Robert Brierley, to Managing Director of REMS (Real Estate Management Services) and Executive Vice President of Colliers Boston.

Following earlier leadership posts at Brookfield Office Properties, Equity Office Properties, Beacon Properties and Gilbane Properties, Brierley joined Colliers International’s REMS group in 2013, and has been a distinguished addition to the REMS group and company as a whole.

Brierley is Chair Elect of Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) International, a global organization with over 11,000 members worldwide.  Rob is also a past President of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB).  He is also active in various professional associations, including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Within the BOMA organization, he has received multiple awards and recognitions throughout the years, including, but not limited to his 2012 inauguration into a class of BOMA Fellows, his 2014 BOMA International Chairman’s Award, and his 2014 BOMA Boston President’s Award.

Colliers International’s CEO and co-chairman, Tom Hynes, noted that “Rob Brierley is an experienced real estate executive who brings best in class service to our property management clients. We have great confidence that in his new role Rob will continue to grow this important part of our Boston business.”
